FREE Slipways available in Poole Harbour

All pictures taken at low tide so you can see what the slope is like. If you want to go away for a few days we could store your trailor and bring it back on your return with our towing service.

Lake Road

This is Lake Road, Hamworthy and is a free slipway to use, parking can be around the local area or onsite however it is limited, it has a height and width restriction, it is a slow steady drop onto shingle but a good location, recommend launching only at mid to high tide.

Turlin Moor

This is Turlin Moor, Hamworthy and is a free place to use to launch your small boat, it is not a slipway as such but sand to shingle steady drop, it is used by a lot of local fishermen with shallow bottom boats recommend launching only at mid to high tide.

Payable Slipways in Poole Harbour

Baiter Park

This is Baiter Park, Poole and is a free place to use to launch your small boat, however if you want to park your trailer and car there it is payable, it is a steady, shallow long slipway and used by a lot of jet skiers as it is convenient, recommend launching only at mid to high tide.

Cobbs Quay
Davis Boatyard

This is Cobbs Quay, Poole and is undoubtedly the best slipway in the area, can be used all states of tide but is £50 to use for a daily launch and recover. They do an annual membership of £550. They conveniently had a petrol station here as well.

This is Davis's Boatyard, Poole and doesnt have a daily rate however an annual membership is £330, this is next door to Cobbs so also good for getting fuel. Recommend launching at mid to high tide.
